The Barrow Borough Local Plan Pre Submission Draft is now at a stage where the Council considers it is ready for submission to the Secretary of State for independent examination. The Plan will be subjected to a 6 week public consultation to invite comments from consultees on whether they agree that the Plan is sound.
The consultation period will run from __Friday 26th May to 5pm on Friday 7th July 2017.__
The consultation document is available to view below together with the Proposals Map, Sustainability Appraisal and other supporting evidence. __Please note this page will continue to be updated with supporting documentation.__
Paper copies of the Plan and maps can also be viewed at Barrow Town Hall, Dalton Town Hall and libraries in the borough during normal opening hours.
