Website user behaviour
council-information/website-user-behaviour
Data showing the number of page visits for each visitor to the Wycombe DC website. A visit is defined as a series of page or other requests by a specific user. A page view is a request for a web page. A visit can consist of one or many page views. A visit can include a request for the same page within the visit. See the Wikipedia entry for web analytics (external website) for more detailed information and definitions. Data comes from web logs which are then analysed by SiteImprove, a third-party service that provides us with a range of web statistics and other data about our websites. Our site uses cookies to provide this and other website data. High page views can show that visitors are engaged in web content. On the other hand, it may show that users cannot find the service or content that they need to access. We use this and other data to help guide our work to improve the website. Data goes back to January 2008.
